Compassionate Therapy from Expert Psychologists

We are a professional group of psychologists based in Central London. As a practice, we value being compassionate, non-judgemental, personable and down to earth when working with people.

We maintain that ‘mental health problems’ are not the result of disorder & dysfunction but instead arise out of a need to address our larger struggles. This often means exploring past pains, fears, a disconnect between body & mind, harmful beliefs or ways of coping that no longer serve us.

Working closely, we aim to connect with you and form a trusting relationship. Our goal is to help you feel better within yourself by empowering you with insight, coping skills and better self-understanding. In this resilient place, you can let go of old burdens and live a more meaningful life.

Harrison Psychology Therapists

All Harrison Psychology therapists are trained to offer the latest treatments for a wide variety of psychological challenges. Good therapy, however, does not simply come from good training and years of experience alone. We believe it is equally important that we practice what we preach and actively work on ourselves in all the ways we will ask you to work on yourself. We bring ourselves as human beings into the therapy room and take special care to balance a down-to-earth approach with evidence-based, person centered clinical practice.

Our Approach to Therapy

We believe in an integrative approach to psychotherapy. While we are trained in many types of therapy, we do not believe that any single kind of therapy can solve all problems for everyone. We instead take into account people's experiences, preferences and needs, integrating therapy from different modalities to best fit your needs.

Diversity & Inclusion

Psychotherapy has historically failed to adequately address the psychological experiences of minoritised people. We account for the mental and embodied impact of discrimination in our clinical work and do not pathologise non-conformity. At Harrison Psychology Group, we believe that celebration of human diversity is crucial to building resilience and healing. We work affirmatively with people of all sexes, gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, religions, races, and socioeconomic and relationship structures.

A sign of health is that we don’t become undone by fear and trembling, but we take it as a message that it’s time to stop struggling and look directly at what’s threatening us.
